So now that it's halftime on this spring break, it's time for a brief recap:

Thurs was sleepy sleepy until time for keiko. Wifey then met me for a Petite Abeille dinner amid news of the arrival of the new tv. The pommes frites were great.

Fri was an expedition to work in order to pick up a library book soon due, and then a big expedition to the DMV to try and get a new ID for Lelaina, and then some assorted shopping at AEO and H&M and so on, followed by a thwarted attempt to purchase a new GameCube.

Sat was a successful used (refurb) GC, though only on the second try--as with my PS2, the first one was a real dud, conking out after just a few minutes, but the second one worked like a charm, and Wifey smashed me all off of the stage. Keiko also in the evening, and a visit to Rob Chin, as his HomoTax.

Sun was pretty usual, with keiko, Rob, and a thwarted bestbuy run. If Jesus can come back from the dead, the least you could do is open up your store.

Today was oversleeping, laundry, a walk all the way home rather than to work, more GC games (windwaker!!), netflix, Glenn Ford (Blackboard Jungle has a token Asian, with no lines!!), and a flaccid episode of 24. But three beers is always good, and I have been on somewhat of a diet, though that is hard to tell from the beer consumption.

Oh, yes, for some reason on Thurs Sensei had posted the email alert about HIV in ketchup. Hrmmm...

So spoiler:

the 24 traitor is Rob Chin

Jizzwant my ass!

Now, it's great, though the entire to-do. Poor Evelyn

So today was such a bonanza day for comics:

Deadworld
Marvel Zombies
Walking Dead
Planetary

I can't believe I ever stopped reading comics, although admittedly these days there do seem to be fewer than in the past.

Somehow, though, I managed to run out of time again at work, even though I ditched early in order to go to a research meeting, I just can't enough done at the office. It's only going to get worse, I think, next year with fulltime grad work. Then again, I think that the summer opportunity to teach frosh pre-calc could be pretty great indeed.

PS... I'm so wired I posted this first on jiandaoliji. Maybe that's just a sign
