So almost four weeks is far too long between posts, though of course the kendoblog has been taking away from all this--I've managed to run another gauntlet of final presentations and projects, and I've also managed somehow to almost completely book my summer, granted to the tune of quite a few dollars, but hopefully enough to admit a few new hobbies--kyudo and dizi, perhaps. What with Wifey all gradumatated but still studying for the bar, we still only have weekends to spend together, but there are only eight classes left this year, even though I'm at a complete loss for what I will teach tomorrow to the teeming masses.

So today I was as close to quitting as I've ever been.
It's been a hectic week, and today's PD was very frustrating. In the visitations, worse than the atopical interest-survey nonsense, there were two egregiousnesses today--one visitor decided to ask my students about squaring the circle, even though said student has no real conception or understanding pi, nor the experience with ruler and compass constructions to appreciate the problem adequately. Worse yet, an assistant principal and former math instructor, decided to check her email during her visit, but couldn't log on, so I ended up logging for her!!!. That's just insulting.
With all the other running around this week, anxietya nd limbo about this other fellowship, a cellphone which still hasn't come (though of course the first bill has), Saturday's close call, and so on, I just need to snuggle and sleep with a studious, unsympathetic Wifey.
